When Bil and Tobi contacted me three weeks before their wedding I was a bit thrown. But when I met this couple in person it all made sense—why wait months for a big over the top wedding when they could be married immediately in an intimate ceremony at a friends house? I probably have said it before, but I love small weddings–they are filled with emotion, a ton of love, and amazing details (which all add up to some great pictures). Bil and Tobi wear their hearts on their sleeves and their wedding day was a mix of tears and laughter. These two are so clearly in love and it was reflected in their personal and meaningful ceremony that included a beautiful reading from the “Velveteen Rabbit” and a special moment between Tobi and her father. After the ceremony the party started with dinner by candlelight and dancing under the stars. It was an amazing day and I was honored to document it.
